Erica attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham where she received a B.S. in healthcare management. She continued on to the University of North Florida where she graduated at the top of her class with a doctorate in physical therapy.
Erica’s experience has been focused in orthopedic and sports related physical therapy. During her training, she held an internship at a leading physical therapy practice, Sports Medicine of Atlanta, where her patients included top level Olympic and professional athletes.
Once in LA, she began working for the Motion Picture and Television Fund. With MPTF she treated a wide variety of patients including movie executives and stunt professionals. At Pacific Coast Sports Medicine, Erica participates in a multidisciplinary approach working closely with orthopedic surgeons, chiropractors, and other physical therapists to successfully treat a wide variety of patients and diagnoses.
Erica is committed to excellence in her career and continues to pursue additional certifications. In 2013, she became a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). She is also currently completing her manual therapy certification. Her post-graduate studies include extensive training with the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy and advanced training in Kinesio taping techniques.
Whether she is working with elite athletes, business executives, or weekend warriors, Erica uses her orthopedic knowledge and manual therapy skills to help her patients reach their goals and maximum potential as quickly as possible.
