Bob Feldman grew up on both coasts, born in Philadelphia, and then moved to Connecticut as a young kid with his two brothers. They then settled in Brentwood. Sports and music were his interests. He was especially interested in baseball, and at the age of 13 he went to see the bands Cream, The Doors and Jimi Hendrix and he was hooked. His goal was to become a professional musician. He attended Berklee college of Music. After graduation he enjoyed a long career as a studio musician/Bass player, playing and traveling the world with such greats as Dionne Warwick, Rita Coolege, David Benoit and Melissa Manchester. During that time he also did Broadway and he played on Cheers, Frazier and composed music for Entertainment Tonight.
All the playing took its toll. During a concert, he lost feeling in his left hand. He freaked! It got worse and reoccurred more frequently. He tried many different treatments and nothing worked. Through a friend at the gym he met a Neuromuscular Therapist and started treatments. It took awhile, but it worked.
That got his attention. It just so happened, the therapist wanted to learn to play bass and Bob wanted to learn neuromuscular therapy. So they taught each other.
His education consisted of training with the originators of the technique. He also attended Santa Monica School of massage, got his certification and worked as a physical therapy aid. He has helped people of all ages, with everything from migrane headaches, knees and lower back to flexibility and post surgery rehab.
